COP31 Antalya 2026 to Bring the Global Climate Agenda Together in Antalya
The Conference of the Parties (COP), organised under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), is the world’s leading international summit dedicated to addressing climate change. Bringing together heads of state, government representatives, international organisations, academics, business leaders and civil society organisations from around the world, COP31 will be hosted by Türkiye and held in Antalya in 2026.
COP31 Antalya 2026 will serve as a major international platform where critical global issues such as sustainability, climate finance, energy transition, carbon reduction and environmental resilience will be discussed. The summit is expected to include a wide range of official meetings, side events, business forums and international cooperation programmes.
With its strong tourism infrastructure, world-class meeting and congress facilities, advanced transportation network and extensive accommodation capacity, Antalya is exceptionally well positioned to host COP31. In particular, the Belek region stands out as one of the principal destinations for international delegations, offering world-class hotels, congress centres and sustainable tourism practices.
Hosting COP31 in Antalya will strengthen Türkiye’s international visibility in the fields of sustainable development and climate diplomacy while further enhancing the global position of Antalya and Belek as leading destinations for international congresses, events and business tourism.
