Antalya Bicycle Tourism Meeting Held

The Antalya Bicycle Tourism Meeting, organized within the framework of the 2024–2028 Türkiye Tourism Strategy, was held with the participation of public institutions, local authorities, and tourism industry representatives.

The meeting focused on expanding bicycle tourism throughout all twelve months of the year, increasing destination diversity, and strengthening cooperation among institutions. Participants also discussed Antalya’s potential in bicycle tourism, the development of cycling routes, and a strategic roadmap for promoting the destination more effectively at both national and international levels.

As BETUYAB, we took part in the meeting and evaluated the contributions that the Belek destination can offer to bicycle tourism in line with the principles of sustainable tourism, while also exploring opportunities for collaborative initiatives highlighting the region’s natural and cultural assets.

With its unique nature, favorable climate, and rich cultural heritage, Belek continues to be an important part of this collaborative effort supporting sustainable tourism. We believe that the steps to be taken for the development of bicycle tourism will make a significant contribution to Antalya’s goal of becoming a year-round tourism destination.
